Our Mountain

A couple Sunday's ago Tyson and I took Toa on top of the mountain behind our house. We roasted hot dogs and just relaxed! We took Toa for a walk, which he absolutely loved! LOL.. as you can see he also enjoyed playing in the dirt! :)

Our 5th Wedding Anniversary!!

November 11th was our 5 year wedding anniversary! I can't believe it's been 5 years! I'm married to the best man in the world! Tyson is such an amazing husband!! I am soooo very blessed to have him in my life! It's funny sometimes we are complete opposites, he's more of the spontaneous, laid back type and I'm always high stress, gotta get everything done now kind of person.... but we balance each other out perfectly! I love you sooooo VERY much Ty! Ty and I are pretty big food lovers! For our anniversary we slept in and was lazy all day and then drove up to Park City to eat at Ruth Chris Steakhouse! It was absolutely delicious! VERY EXPENSIVE, but so yummy!! For our appetizer we had Shrimp with BBQ sauce, however the BBQ sauce was like none I have ever tasted before, it was SOOO good! Lol.. I started putting spoonfuls of just the sauce in my mouth...:) We each had a salad. Our salads had so many different flavors, it was awesome! Don't worry we also got a huge Cowboy Ribeye steak topped with a blue cheese, garlic, butter crust... YUMMMM!! It was amazing! To top it all off we had some bread pudding, which I had never had before, but was delicious as well! The atmosphere of this restaurant was absolutely gorgeous and very romantic! The lights were dimmed, it was awesome! Man, if we were rich I would definitely eat there more often! :)
Happy Anniversary Babe! I Love you!!

"So you think you can dance?"

A couple weekends ago we went and watched "So you think you can dance?" (Season 5) at the "E" center! We actually weren't planning on going, our friends (Mike & Kesha) had tickets and they convinced us to drive up with them to see if anyone was selling their tickets at the show. We got lucky and were able to purchase tickets when we got there! It was really fun to watch! Man, it made me miss dance sooooo much! These guys are such amazing dancers! They made every move look so effortless! Kesha got some pictures of us at the show, but I'm just waiting for her to send them over and then I will add them to this post! Thanks Mike & Kesha for a fun evening! :)

Halloween '09

Ty & I dressed up as a cowboy and cowgirl this year! Which was a pretty good idea since all of Tyson's cousins are cowboys and cowgirls! It was nice to be able to borrow our costumes rather than having to purchase them! Thanks cousins!!
We ended up having a party at our house with some family and friends. We had some ham chowder in pumpkin bread bowls for dinner! Yum! Our guests were pretty skeptical of the games I put together, but wow they were sooo funny to watch everyone play!! The first game we played was pass the pumpkin. I had all the girls in one line and all the boys in another line. We had to pass the pumpkin with our chins, therefore it looked like everyone was kissing each other! It was hilarious! I wish I had pics of this game, but we all had to play at the same time. Lol... the guys didn't like this game so much! :) We also played a game to see which couple could pop the most balloons in between their bumbs and their spouses bumbs.... this was SOOO FUNNY to watch!! I don't think I was being very helpful to Tyson during this game, because I was laughing so hard! We played a game where we had to balance an apple between our spouses forehead while doing moves such as jumping, twirling, sitting down, etc. The winners had to hold the apple between their lips it was awesome! We ended up playing the newly wed game and of course had to get gummy worms out of whip cream with only our mouths!! It was fun!! We ended the night with a movie we thought would be super scary and fun to watch on Halloween "Trick 'R Treat", but it turned out to be pretty dumb. Oh well! It was a good Halloween! :)

Our Hawaii Home...

Last week we spent a week in Hawaii! It was such a blast!! We stayed with Jessica's parents in a studio apartment overlooking the ocean! It was gorgeous!! We stayed in Laie, Hawaii which is right by the Temple and Polynesian Cultural Center!! We are so grateful to Tim & Jess for taking us on this amazing trip and for Jess's parents for allowing us to stay with them!! Seriously, Hawaii was AMAZING!! I never dreamed I would be able to visit such a beautiful place! Loved every minute of it! Thanks Tim & Jess! :)

Beautiful scenery EVERYWHERE!!

Pali Look out...

This was a really pretty place over looking the valley. I guess some pretty horrible things happened on this mountain where kings fought and threw people over the edge. Never the less, still a beautiful place!!

Motsumoto Shaved Ice...

Wow! This place had the BEST shaved ice ever!! They give you the option of having vanilla ice cream, beans or both on the bottom of your shaved ice and then you get to pick all the flavors for the ice!! SOOOOOO DELICIOUS!! Yes, we had a couple while we were in Hawaii! I'm sure they are pretty healthy, don't worry! :)

Waimea Bay Beach... OUR FAVORITE BEACH!!

During our trip we visited many different beaches: Pounders, Bikini, Hukilau, Sunset, Turtle Bay, but Waimea was our absolute favorite! The water was sooo clear and the waves were a blast to play in! We did get smacked around a few times from the waves, but it was awesome trying to keep your swimming suit on and not swallow too much salt water! :) As you can see in the pics I'm not the best at boogie boarding, somehow Tyson always hit the waves perfectly so he would just go right with the wave and there I would be sitting on top of the wave going no where! haha.. Tyson was so cute when he was playing in the water! He had a permanent smile the entire time! He really enjoyed boogie boarding even when the waves would tear him apart and leave him on the beach with sand up his britches! LOL... :) The beaches are absolutely amazing in Hawaii, perfect temperature, even when it sprinkled a little bit it was still fine to play in the ocean because it was so warm! Man, I miss just rocking back and forth in the waves!!

Hiking?

This is the place where we were supposed to hike up to a beautiful waterfall, however it cost 10 bucks per person to go on the hike..so we decided to go to the beach instead! Seriously why would you charge someone to do a hike? LOL.. :) It was a very pretty place though!!

Yummy Restaurant..

I can't remember what this restaurant was called, but they had some AMAZING coconut shrimp!! However, our waitress was not very nice to us... LOL.. She got upset for us asking her to split the bill into couples! WOW! How hard is that? lol..

Pearl Harbor

We visited Pearl Harbor. Man, it's so sad to see how many people died during that attack!! They took us on a little boat ride out to the monument where all the names are listed who passed away. As well as where some ships are still in the ocean. It's crazy to still see oil coming to the surface from those ships! What a sad story!! :( But I'm so glad we got to visit the place and learn more history of what happened.

Ted's Bakery..

Absolutely delicious!! I love their bacon cheeseburgers and fries! :)

The Polynesian Cultural Center

We visited the Polynesian Cultural Center, which was alot of fun! Of course our favorite village was the Samoan Village. It was really cool to learn more about the Samoan culture and where Tyson was born! The Samoan's were hilarious! They put on a very good show! They even climbed up a coconut tree!! The guy in the picture with both TY and I was freakin awesome! He talked to Tyson for a little bit and kept saying, "Welcome home brother"! Such an awesome experience! The night show was also amazing, especially with the fire dancing!!

Hukilau Cafe!

We ate at the Hukilau cafe a couple times while we were in Hawaii! They have such yummy food! We really enjoyed the Banana Pancakes! The name of this cafe was actually used in the movie 50 First Dates, which is pretty cool!! :)

Hanging out at the beach!

All I can say is YUMMMMM!!!!

Laie Hawaii Temple

This temple was beautiful and so different from all the ones I have seen! Right now it is currently under construction to do some updating on the temple, so we were unable to attend, however we did play around at the temple grounds for a while! :)
Check out that HUGE snail! Of course, I had to get a picture of it!! It was also cool to see Brigham Young University of Hawaii!!

The Dole Pineapple Plantation in Hawaii

This was one of my favorite places to visit while we were in Hawaii!! They had the cutest gift shop AMAZING pineapple ice cream, GORGEOUS scenery and lot's of fun pineapples to look at!! I never knew Pineapples grew in bushes, I always thought they grew on a tree!! There are also many different kinds of Pineapples grown on all the different islands! There were even some cute pink ones!! The baby ones were my favorite! So stinkin cute!! There was a pond at the plantation that had SOOO many fish, I couldn't believe it! They were all waiting to be fed and went crazy if you threw something in the water!! The flowers were sooo gorgeous everywhere! Sorry, I had to take a picture of all of my favorite ones! lol....

Tucanos!!

We ate at Tucanos tonight to celebrate Tyson's and Oliver's birthday!! Man, we can never leave that place without stuffing ourselves to death!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYSON!!!!

Happy Birthday Sweetie!! Tyson's birthday was Saturday October 3rd! We started his celebration by attending the Creed/Staind concert Friday night, then we went to my grandpa's cabin Saturday morning. We hung out with my family at the cabin until Sunday evening! As you can see we had a little too much fun with the teetor tottor!lol.. We had a lot of fun! Even though it was raining and it kind of made it miserable to be outside especially for our Toa!!But it was a good weekend of celebrating Tyson's birthday! This year I made Tyson a triple layer brownie cake, holy cow it was very rich, but delicious!! On Monday Tyson's mom made Chicken Ala King and a Pink cake for Tyson!lol.. so yes, we celebrated Tyson's birthday for 4 days in a row! :) Hope you had a good birthday babe! I LOVE YOU!!! :) :)

Creed/Staind Concert...

For Tyson's birthday I got him tickets to the Creed/Staind concert. We went with Josh, Candace and their little boy Gabe! It was an absolute blast! When we got there they actually relocated us from the nose bleed section to the floor seating row 6 for no extra cost!! HECK YES! It was amazing!! Tyson and I agree that Staind performed the best, but Creed did awesome as well. To be honest I loved this concert so much more than the Nickleback concert! Creed and Staind are sooo much more humble bands than Nickleback! My two favorite songs that were played were Outside by Staind (he played the acoustic guitar and we all sang together, it brought tears to the singers eyes!) & With arms wide open by Creed (The Creed singer also had tears in his eyes when he sang this song)... Man, these bands have soo much talent, and we were sooo lucky to have such good seats!! People paid 150 per ticket for the seats we sat in!!! LUCKY US! :) We had an absolute blast Friday night at the concert!! :) :)

Kyle & Courtney's Wedding Day...

My little brother is now married!! Kyle and Courtney were sealed on Saturday September 26th at the Draper Temple! It was a gorgeous wedding!! Tyson and I catered for the wedding luncheon as well as the reception. Boy, was that ALOT of work! We just didn't get any sleep the night before! haha!(Thank you to Tyson's mom, Oliver & Katie and the Thorn's for helping us out with the food!!) Kyle & Courtney we are so proud of you two!! Your wedding was absolutely beautiful!! Love you both! :)

Another Luau...

Last Saturday night we catered food for Grandpa & Grandma Smith's Luau! It was lots of fun!! We served the following: Chicken/Bacon Teriyaki bobs, Pineapple smokies, Kahlua Pork, Hawaiian rice, rolls, green salad with Papaya seed vinaigrette, strawberry cheesecake... and Tyson made fresh Pina Colada's on the spot!!! Silly me, I forgot to take pictures of the food! LOL... at least I got a picture of the cheesecake! :)
Thank you Grandpa and Grandma Smith for allowing us to make food for your special night!!

Jeremy & Yeimi's engagement pictures...

A couple weeks ago I took Jeremy and Yeimi's engagement pictures! It was so fun! Tyson and I had them doing some pretty funny poses, but they were great sports! :)
Aren't they super cute together? :)

It's been a long time since I've posted!!

Alot has happened in the past couple of weeks, here are a couple updates, in no particular order. I still have more things to post, but this is all for tonight! lol..

More Arizona Pics..

This just makes me baby hungry!!

Arizona

We went to Arizona for Oliver and Katie's open house. Oliver is originally from an Indian Reservation in Arizona. It was really neat to see where he grew up and to spend time with his family! We left around 4:30 am on a Saturday morning and drove back the following the day! A total of 12 hours of driving! We got a little crazy! We ended up drinking a few Bios Life E's that day!! At one point Oliver stopped the car so him and Katie could run around the vehicle at a stop sign! Lol... we were being a little silly! As you can see by the pics it was a fun little road trip! :)

We will miss you Grandpa Chamberlain!

Tyson's grandpa passed away on September 3rd. :( We will miss him dearly! He lived such an honorable life, but now he is with his sweatheart in a much happier place! This was such a hard time for everyone, but it was good to have the whole family together being able to reminisce and talk about what a wonderful life Grandpa Chamberlain had lived! His funeral was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It started out with the most amazing prayer given by Tyson. I'm sure there wasn't a dry eye in the congregation! I personally just bawled the whole time! The talks and music fit perfectly. You could definitely feel his spirit there! All in all it was a beautiful day.
My favorite memory of Grandpa Chamberlain is..... I come from a family who is not very lovey dovey, or touchy feely. (So this was pretty shocking to me at first) Well the first time I met him, he gave me a great big hug and a huge kiss on the cheek, and called me babe! lol.. it makes me smile just thinking about it! Every time I saw Grandpa Chamberlain he would do this. :)

We Miss You Dearly Grandpa Chamberlain!!!! Until we meet again........

Happy Birthday Jeremy! :)

Nickelback Concert

We went with some friends, my sister and her husband to the Nickelback concert last Wednesday! The music was AWESOME!! However, everything in between was pretty vulgar!! We went to the same concert 3 years ago and it was nothing like this, so I'm pretty sure this will be our last Nickelback concert. After the singer had a few drinks in him he was saying some pretty inappropriate things..LOL.. but it was a fun concert and had some great music!! :)The following bands opened for Nickelback: Hinder, Papa Roach, and Saving Abel!! :)

Kelsie's 18th Birthday...

August 19th was my little sister's birthday! I guess she's not little anymore! hahah! Kelsie turned 18! HOORAY! We spent the evening playing around at Boondocks with the fam! Happy Birthday Kels! :) Love ya!!
P.S. She doesn't like getting her picture taken, so I couldn't get a good pic of her, but at least I got some side shots! haha! :)

Bios Life Slim Contest...

As you all know Tyson has been working REALLY hard to lose weight and get back into shape! It's definitely starting to "PAY" off! :) Tyson entered a weight loss competition at my work. He has been drinking one of our products called Bios Life Slim as well as working out and eating healthier. He started out at 340 pounds and is now down to 240. However, he is still going strong! He won the 90 day challenge at my work, which was a $5,000.00 check!! IN WHICH WE ARE BOTH TRUELY GRATEFUL FOR! :) This also gave Tyson the extra motivation to keep pushing because he's also entered in the 180 day challenge which is $15,000.00 for first place! I am SOOO proud of Ty! He has changed sooo much, and for the better!! He has so much more confidence and that reflects in our marriage which makes me so happy!! Thank you Unicity for providing such an excellent product, and for the check!! :) :)
P.S. Tyson had absolutely no idea he had won 1st place, so I told Tyson we had an appointment with the Utah County Health Department (for my catering business) on Monday August 17th, so he needed to stop in at my work to pick me up.. well that was a little white lie! When Tyson entered my work he was surprised with lots of employees, his family and myself gathered at the front desk cheering for him. Clive Winn presented the $5,000.00 check to Tyson! He was SPEECHLESS and is VERY Thankful for the money!! (don't worry we have a hawaii trip planned for October, YAY!)

Toa's Mom had puppies again!! And they are sooo stinkin Cute! Tyson is begging for one! :)

Happy Birthday Mom!!

I know this is a very late posting, but Happy Birthday Mom! August 9th was my mom's birthday, so we went down to fairview and made my mom an Italian dinner! Then Monday night we all went to the Olive Garden and then to the Fantastiks musical at the outdoor theater in Sundance. It was fun! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! LOVE YOU! :)

Work Summer Party...

This past weekend was my work summer party, which was held up in Deer Valley where we watched the Utah Symphony play in the outdoor theater. We went up with Katie and Oliver and had fun hanging out with them! I don't have too much to say about the symphony, I honestly wasn't that impressed! lol...
We also had a little family reunion on my mom's side right before my work party! That was lots of fun for the 30 minutes we were there! :)

Tyson & Toa love to cuddle with each other! :)

The 24th of July weekend...

Friday we went to the Fairview demolition derby with my family! It was an absolute blast!! We love watching derbys! My dad actually sponsored 2 cars in this derby, they are the 2 cars that say "Scott's Cars" on the side! :) We had pretty good seats and at one point the cars got so close to us that one of them flicked up a whole bunch of mud on all us in the stands! It was hilarious!! Everyone had mud EVERYWHERE!!! After the derby I felt like we needed to hit every car in the parking lot on our way out! haha! We left the derby a little early to make it back to my parents house in time to watch the fireworks! They were fun! The next day my mom and two of my sisters took us up to a pond behind their house where we played in the water for a little bit. Toa was so fun to watch! After he got out of the water he rolled around in the dirt and got sooo dirty!! lol...

Keyontae's Birthday

Last Wednesday was Tyson's little nephew's birthday!! The fam went bowling! It was lots of fun, however Tyson and I didn't do so swell! We definitely need some practice! LOL...

Happy Birthday Keyontae! :)

My little sis is married!!!

Saturday Katie and Oliver got married! CONGRATS YOU TWO! We are so excited for ya! The entire day was beautiful! From the temple sealing to the reception, everything went very well! :) Right now the newlyweds are currently in Hawaii! I am sooo jealous! Katie and Oliver were sealed in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple and had their reception in Pleasant Grove at the Bungalow. Tyson and I enjoyed greeting people at the reception as well as interigating them with questions!! I took pictures of everyone, while Tyson hunted everyone down to ask to give advice on the camera for the couple! lol.. sad to say, people were trying to avoid Tyson! However, I think Ty really enjoyed being the camera man! :)

Hope you enjoy the pics! Of course I took millions, but couldn't exactly post them all! lol..

WE ARE PROUD OF YOU OLIVER & KATIE!! WE WISH YOU NOTHING BUT THE BEST IN YOUR MARRIAGE! :)

And this is why my family won the tug-a-war! :) GO BABE!!

Look at those muscles!!

Isn't he hott!!!

Durrant Family Reunion at Bear Lake...

This past weekend was the Durrant Family Reunion which was held at Bear Lake. We had a blast! It was funny because Tyson and I both have cots and our two cots just barely fit into our tent leaving no room to walk in the tent. Well Toa had a very scared/sad look in his eyes the first night we were there, so we invited him to sleep in our tent with us, just thinking he would sleep under one of the cots. Oh, no! As soon as we let him in he jumped up on top of my cot cuddled up in a ball and went to sleep. He looked too cute for me to get mad at him, so I ended up sleeping right next to Toa all night. WOW! He sure is a cuddler! He would only adjust himself if I rolled over and then he would put his paw on me or snuggle his face right up against mine. It was quite cute actually. Half way through the night he switched over to Tyson's cot and slept with him the rest of the night. :) So yes, he was spoiled and slept with us at Bear Lake. Saturday we spent all day at the beach. On our way to the beach Toa was in the back of the truck and all of a sudden he looked like he was about ready to jump out while we were driving, so we pulled over and let him inside the truck with us, well it's a dang good thing he did this because once we pulled up to the beach we saw the sign that said, "NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE BEACH". lol... that didn't stop us, I threw a blanket over Toa just as we pulled up to the little stopping station to pay to play on the beach. We all just sat in silence praying that Toa wouldn't bark or move! Well it was a sucess we snuck him on the beach and baracaded him in with a couple vehicles so no one would see him. Come to find out the reason why Toa wanted to jump out the truck was because he had to go to the bathroom apparently he would not go to the bathroom where he was tied up by our tent. He had been holding it forever! So yes Toa did his thing on the beach,(in which I had to clean up, so yes you get to see the picture of the poop!) once he was finished he was out for the count and dead asleep under Tyson's truck all day while we played in the water! We played a few games of keep away in the water, which was fun! Also, we had a huge tug-a-war on the beach. I wasn't able to participate because I was having major back pains this day, but don't worry, my family won! YAY! All in all it was a fun little vacation! Lots of fun in the sun! :)

Unicity's Leadership Summit at Deer Valley...

I had the opportunity to attend the Leadership Summit up at Deer Valley for Unicity (the company I work for). It was such a neat experience to be able to interact with some of our top Franchise Owners! We held the event at the Chateaux Resort. It was absolutely gorgeous!! They booked condos for all of the employees, and holy cow they were SUPER nice!! I wasn't able to attend the entire Summit because I also had a family reunion at Bear Lake to attend the same weekend. However I was there from 7:00am on Thursday until midafternoon on Friday. Most of Thursday was spent at the registration desk of the Chateaux signing in our Franchise Owners and making sure they were ready to go with their packets and name badges. After everyone was registered and ready to we had a little cocktail party outside next to the private ski lift. Of course I stuck to drinking the fresh lemonade with mint (which was amazing)! We had a VERY Yummy dinner, including some amazing desserts! After dinner Melisa and I took the ski lift up to the top of the mountain. It was absolutely gorgeous! You could see Park city from one side and Heber from the other side! After a few more desserts (shh! don't tell Tyson!) we headed back to our condo to relax in our hot tub! Don't worry every condo had it's own hottub on the deck! It felt so nice to relax for a little bit after being on our feet all day. The next morning we had to be in the lobby by 7:00 because we were getting trained on how to use these high tech blenders which were donated to us for the event. I can't remember the company name but it's the guy that demonstrates how tough the blender is by blending cell phones, broom sticks, etc. Anyways he showed us how to use the blenders and gave us the recipes we would be making which included one of Unicity's products (Lean Complete-Meal Replacement/Protein Shake). At 7:30 Melis and I worked together at one station taking orders and blending smoothies for the Franchise Owners. It was actually quite fun being able to interact with everyone and serve them a delicious healthy smoothie!! After breakfast we helped set up the Get Slim Booth. Then we had to completely transform the lobby for the launch of our new energy drink "Bios Life E". We hired a production company to help us make this place look amazing, in which it did! They even had a little Bistro/Bar in which we served shots of our new energy drink. I was one of the people in charge of serving the drinks on a tray. WOW! Once it was announced on stage about the "E" everyone came bulging through the doors to try the samples. It was so crowded! I couldn't keep enough samples on my tray to keep people happy, but it sure was a blast!! LOL.. I was sneaking a few shots, I got a little happy after a couple of them! :) I had to leave for Bear Lake right after the Launch, but the event continued until Saturday night!! P.S. If any of you are interested in a HEALTHY energy drink check out this website: http://bioslifesmartenergy.com/
P.S. I will post about Bear Lake shortly!!

Pics of the 4th of July Water Fight!!

Sunday, July 5, 2009

Happy 4th of July!!!

We had an awesome 4th!! We started out the day by eating some yummy breakfast at Ty's parent's house, then we took Ty's nephew (Jayden) back to our house for a hike! We hiked for a couple hours on top of the mountains behind our house. It was absolutely beautiful up there! We took Toa with us for his first hike. He did very well, however he was dying of heat and was very thirsty so he ended up drinking both mine and Ty's water that we had brought for ourselves. lol... After our long hike we could hear the ice cream man going through our neighborhood, which was PERFECT timing! So we went and flagged down the icecream man for some popsicles and snowcones to cool us down with! We definitely felt like little kids again! :)We were still very hot from our hike so we headed back to Ty's parents house for the annual
4th of July water fight! We had a blast, however I don't understand how I am always the one that ends up soaking wet? Everyone thinks it's so funny to gang up on me and just dump buckets of water on me! grrr... Tawnee got some good pics of us playing in the water, which I will post soon! After the water fight we layed in the sun for a bit to try and dry off. Then Ty's parents bbqed up some yummy hamburgers for dinner! After our delicious meal we headed to the Thanksgiving Point Fireworks. Of course we had front row seats, which was awesome. However with front row seats comes a bit of sacrifice. Ty's parents had to save our seats around 11am that day then we had to arrive at 7:00 and wait until 10:00 to watch the fireworks. Then we didn't end up getting home until a little after 1:00 am due to all the traffic! All in all it was a VERY fun day! I love celebrating the 4th with family and celebrating our Nations Independence Day! We are so blessed to live in such a great Country!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!! :)
Sorry I have a thousand pics to post!! Keep in mind this is my journal!! :)

We are sharing our water with Toa! He is soooo thirsty!! It's a good thing we love him!

The three of us! (Our family) :)

Jayden, Toa & I

Ty, Jayden & Toa by the water tower...

Toa thinks he can just take breaks whenever he wants while we are hiking...

I'm pretty sure she texted the whole night! LOL (Ty's sis)

Jayden & I just hanging out...

Ahh.. look at the two lovebirds!! They couldn't keep their hands off each other the whole night! LOL (Ty's parents)

Chey & Jayden! So cute!!

Me & Ty! :)

This is what happens when we wait around for 3 hours to watch fireworks!!

Yup! We are cool! :)

Just waiting..

The fam.. just waiting for the fireworks to start...

As you can see Jayden is more concerned with whats going on around him than paying attention to the firework he is trying to light! LOL...

Little Ty and Big Ty just chillin..

Keyontae playing with sparklers...

Jayden drew all of our intials with chalk!!

Cheyanna playing with sparklers..

A full moon! It was gorgeous!!

Ty playing with the kids! Man, I can't wait until we have some of our own! :)

Ty playing with sparklers! :)

I think this picture is awesome, it has the tree, a firework and the moon! To me this picture looks so fake!!

Finally caught the stupid little bugger!!!!

Well we experienced a first this week! We had a mouse in our house!! Seriously mice are the most disgusting creatures, ahhh... I get chills just thinking of him in our house. Anyways... the first night we figured out we had a mouse we left 4 traps around the house with cheese on the traps. Well he was very sneaky and was able to eat the cheese off all 4 traps without getting caught! So the second night we tried peanut butter! And it worked!! Friday I spend almost the entire day going through my pantries and cleaning them out because of him. Ty and I have been trying to eat healthier so most of the food we eat comes from our fridge, so I had no idea what kind of mess this little bugger was creating!! He went through any food I had that was in bags, built a nest out of rice in one of Ty's shoes! Seriously, I did some major cleaning on Friday because I was so grossed out and very upset to be quite honest because I had to throw out so much food!! I had the hardest time even getting close enough to this mouse to take a picture, I was squealing because it was freaking me out. One of the pics is just a little example of one of the messes he created, and I'm sorry if any of you have weak stomachs, because these pics are pretty gross!! I'm just glad he is gone!!

Poor Toa...

Today was the big day!! We finally got Toa fixed!! He's doing good so far. Although he is acting pretty drunk from all the drugs and pain killers he's had today. lol... We have to keep him in the house for 24 hours so he doesn't get sick. He's been walking around the house for the past couple of hours, not knowing what he wants to do. It was funny, Ty and I were eating dinner when he started pawing at the sliding door because his friends (neighbor dogs) were outside and he wanted to go play. Well he whinned for a minute than got distracted did a lap around the kitchen table and remembered his friends were still outside but for some reason he forgot that the door was not open, so he ran full speed right into the door! It was HILARIOUS!! :) He is quite funny to watch right now! He also got his rabies shot, nails trimmed and a 6 month supply of worm treatment! He's all set! HOORAY! :)
